Matt is a native of Carroll County, Virginia. Matt is a graduate of Ferrum College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science.  In 2023, Hall graduated from the Sorenson Institute for Political Leadership’s Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia. His favorite part of working for the Office of the Attorney General is supporting our law enforcement heroes in rural communities.  In Matt and his wife Lauren’s free time; they like to watch true crime documentaries, traveling, and listening to country music.  Matt, Lauren, and their cats Wes and Georgie W. Bush live in Hollins, Virginia.
