Casey Taylor is a native of Roanoke, Virginia and holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Bluefield University. Prior to joining the OAG, Casey spent 10 years with Virginia State Police (VSP), serving as the Program Development Coordinator for VSP's young driver and passenger safety program, Youth of Virginia Speak Out About Traffic Safety (YOVASO). In this position, Casey led the program's statewide safe driving campaigns for schools and youth groups across the Commonwealth. She also managed the program's website and social media, and assisted with the planning and implementation of trainings and retreats. Prior to her time at VSP, she served as the Director of the New Opportunity School for Women at Bluefield University. Casey's background also includes time in broadcast journalism, working at local news outlets in Virginia and West Virginia. Casey currently severs as the Children's Ministry Leader at her church in Vinton. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her husband and two daughters, gardening, time with family and friends, and traveling.
