Summary

24-024 Mark D. Obenshain, Member, Senate of Virginia Properly tailored voter protection laws generally do not violate the First Amendment, but the questions of whether specific expressive activity violates voter protection laws and whether the enforcement of such laws in a particular circumstance runs afoul of the First Amendment both require fact-specific determinations and analysis beyond the scope of an Opinion.
