Attorney General Jones Encourages Virginians to Vote
Polls are now open in Virginia until 7PM
RICHMOND, Va. -- Attorney General Jones released the following statement as polls open across Virginia on Election Day:
“The polls are officially open! Today, Virginians will cast their ballots and make their voices heard. Our ability to choose our leaders with free, fair, and safe elections is what makes our republic special. I encourage every eligible Virginian who has not yet cast their ballot to go to their polling site, vote, and/or return or postmark your ballot today by 7PM. I also want to thank the dedicated election officials who are working long hours today and will be working well into the early morning hours in support of our democratic process.”
