Attorney General Jay Jones has secured a preliminary injunction blocking President Trump’s attempt to politicize U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) grants by excluding eligible Virginians from access to food security.

Attorney General Jay Jones today joined a coalition of attorneys general from 19 states and jurisdictions in calling on the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and Formula 1 to prohibit sponsorships involving tobacco and nicotine products, including nicotine pouches — and to terminate all existing sponsorship agreements involving those products.

Attorney General Jay Jones joined 23 other Attorneys General today to defend a major court victory on behalf of Virginians.

Starting July 1, 2026 the Office of the Attorney General will have additional tools to combat notario fraud, a scam that targets Spanish-speaking communities.
