HUMAN RESOURCES SECTION

DUTIES:  This position provides diversified technical and administrative assistance in support of the Office’s HR programs, activities, policies, and procedures. Provides clerical support to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for scheduling and coordinating interviews, completing reference checks and coordinating the agency’s new hire onboarding process. This position is responsible for creating credential identification, new employee badging, and completes all paperwork to ensure parking passes are issued. Also, responsible to maintain specific HR reports, logs, and organizational charts.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite to include proficiency with creating and maintaining spreadsheets, presentations, reports, forms, charts and queries; Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, skillfully gather data and present results in a resourceful manner; Working knowledge of clerical and administrative practices and principles; Program coordination and facilitation skills; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships through the delivery of exceptional customer service; Ability to develop and maintain work flows in an organized and timely manner; Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills; Adept at multi-tasking and facilitating process improvements; Ability to anticipate and resolve problems;  Ability to analyze issues and recommend creative solutions; Ability to work in an organized manner with attention to detail, ensuring that all responsibilities are handled timely and accurately; Friendly professional demeanor with the ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

SALARY:  This is a salaried, non-exempt position with full state benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.
