In August of 2019, Stephen Izaguirre joined the Office of the Attorney General as the Northern Virginia Community Outreach Coordinator. Stephen’s region covers approximately 17 counties in the Commonwealth, including the D.C. metro area, Winchester, Luray, Warrenton, Fredericksburg, and Stafford. As Community Outreach Coordinator, Stephen’s role is to educate the public about a variety of topics to prevent victimization. Additionally his role is to link agencies and individuals with the resources available through the Attorney General’s Office. The Northern Virginia Community Outreach Coordinator also works in depth with senior citizen organizations such as Triads, healthcare providers, and workgroups to prevent our seniors from becoming the victims of crime & health care fraud.

Our Outreach Coordinators work closely with state and local law enforcement, drug abuse prevention workgroups, US Postal Inspectors, AARP, Area Agencies on Aging, schools, faith-based organizations and more. Stephen is available to present on programs and resources that are offered by the Office of the Attorney General in English & Spanish.
