7th Annual Statewide Triad Training Conference
April 9 - 11, 2013
The Office of the Attorney General in conjunction with the Virginia State Triad Office and the Virginia S.A.L.T. Council will hold its 7th Annual Virginia State Triad Conference on April 9 – 11, 2013 at The Williamsburg Hospitality House in Colonial Williamsburg. This year’s theme, “Triad: A Revolution in Crime Prevention for Seniors”, will bring law enforcement, senior citizens, senior service provides, non-profits and state and local government representatives together to learn more and share ideas on reducing criminal victimization amongst the elderly.
The Triad partnership is the fastest growing crime prevention program in the country. Over 47 states in the country have active Triad chapters, as well as England and Canada. Here in Virginia, we currently have 230 localities with a signed Triad partnership. This is an excellent opportunity to network with law enforcement and seniors leaders to learn what a positive impact Triad can have for seniors!
