MEDICAID FRAUD CONTROL UNIT
DUTIES: Conduct complex / financial investigations involving health care providers participating in the Virginia Medicaid program. Conduct analysis of corporate and personal financial records, review voluminous records, participate and /or assist in search warrants, interview witnesses and targets of investigations, draft overpayment schedules, participate and /or assist in undercover operations. This position is located in the Richmond, Virginia office. Some overnight travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a related undergraduate degree or commensurate experience. Major course work in accounting, criminal justice, or prior financial investigative experience is preferred. Course work or experience in financial auditing, investigation of financial or white collar crime, or experience in related fields will also be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated computer proficiency with word processing database management systems (Microsoft products preferred). Criminal background check will be completed on successful candidate.
